May 10, 2016

For those who look forward to the Winters Farm to School Bastille Day Feast, this year’s menu promises another fine dining experience featuring all locally-sourced food and drink. Held this year on Saturday, July 9th, from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm, the feast will once again be held under the canopy of 150-year old olive trees lining the historic drive at the Wolfskill Ranch in Winters.

Fine wines from Yolo County wineries compliment each of the courses served, including:

Tartines de Tomatoes Cerises, Chevre Aux Herbes

Charcuterie Platter

Walnuts with Sea Salt, Rosemary and Olive Oil

Summer Fruit Fresca

Platters of Fresh Burrata Cheese, Heirloom Tomatoes, Extra

Virgin Olive Oil and Grilled Bread

Wild King Salmon Croquettes with Lemon Aioli

Lamb Five Ways

Zucchini Gratin

Summer Vegetables Provencal

Meringues with Summer Fruit in Sauterne

Tickets for the Fifth Annual Bastille Day Feast are $100/person and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available at ACE Hardware in Winters, on-line at or by calling 530-795-6109. Tickets have sold out each year and are already selling fast, so those wishing to attend are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.

All of the proceeds from the feast go toward the purchase of fresh fruit, nuts and produce for our school district's meal programs.
